Nine-year-old refuses to stay in her hotels during campaign.
During an interview with talk show host Tyra Banks, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama made it clear that his 9-year-old daughter, Malia, isn't too young to have an opinion about celebrity phenomenon, Paris Hilton.
As his family tours the country, Obama says she repeatedly asks, "This isn't a Hilton hotel, is it?" The girl is opposed to step foot in any Hilton because she does not approve of the former inmate's behavior.
"Parents have to realize, kids want limits, they want structure," Obama told Banks during a show airing Monday. "They don't want you to be their best friend. They want you to be the parent. If we had more parenting, then the kinds of influences we see on television don't matter."
Today, Obama and his wife, Michelle, celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary, dubbed the crystal anniversary. To mark the occasion, Banks produced a crystal ball and asked the Senator to look inside and predict his future.
Obama, 46, peered in and said: "I see the White House."
