Federline requests another custody hearing.
Kevin Federline is requesting yet another emergency custody hearing with Britney Spears. Federline's lawyer has called for a meeting this Friday regarding the pop star's traffic violation from last week. Spears apparently ran a red light with her kids in the back seat. Her lawyer says she was being chased by paparazzi and was distracted. As of now, the singer only has monitored visits with their two sons.
Actor John Stamos was involved in a sky high altercation on Monday. On a flight from Chicago to Los Angeles, the actor was apparently approached by a belligerent woman. Sources say she awoke him while he was sleeping and then took his seat while he was in the bathroom. The passenger reportedly began screaming and threatening Stamos. Airline staff called the FBI when the plane landed. An FBI spokesperson says they responded to a verbal disagreement but no arrests were made.
Several actors are joining in on the Writers Guild Strike. "Desperate Housewives" star Nicolette Sheridan was seen along the picket lines yesterday in front of Universal Studios in Los Angeles. Kim Delaney, best known for her roles on "NYPD Blue" and now the TV show "Army Wives" was also there to show her support. And "Seinfeld" star Julia Louis-Dreyfus joined in. The strike is still going strong except for some soap opera writers who are returning to their jobs.
Former late night comedian Johnny Carson has been named the number 1 TV icon. TV Land teamed up with Entertainment Weekly to name the 50 greatest TV Icons...and Carson topped the list. A special honoring the top 50 will appear on TV Land on Friday...recognizing other big stars like Jerry Seinfeld, Oprah Winfrey, and Bill Cosby. The program will include interviews and clips from the entertainers.
The Victoria's Secret Angels have made their mark on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. A group of the lingerie models attended a ceremony yesterday in Los Angeles where they received a star on the famous sidewalk. Later this week the ladies will work on a much anticipated fashion show featuring performances by the Spice Girls and Seal.
