Commentary: First Obama’s a Secret Muslim, Then a Manchurian Candidate – and Now He’s the Anti-Christ?

Barack Obama, the anti-Christ? I’m telling you, this 2008 presidential campaign is getting really weird.

I’m 56 years old and have lived through 14 presidential races before 2008. The first I have a clear memory of is the one in 1960, when Sen. John F. Kennedy squeaked by Vice President Richard M. Nixon in the popular vote to capture the White House for the Democrats.

I remember President Johnson trouncing Sen. Barry Goldwater in 1964, the wild ride of 1968 that saw a rejuvenated Nixon win a close one against Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey, and Nixon’s landslide win over Sen. George McGovern in 1972. I’ve lived through the Reagan years, two Bushes and the Clinton presidency, and I can say unequivocally that we haven’t had a presidential race like this one.
