WASHINGTON DC - Senator Hillary Clinton has ended her campaign and says that she is throwing her support behind Senator Barack Obama as the Democratic Presidential nominee. Senator Obama is scheduled to visit the Raleigh state fairgrounds on Monday, so it is likely that he will make a statement during his rally.
The announcement came today as Clinton gave a speech in the National Building Museum at 401 F Street, NW, in Washington DC today. Her speech was broadcast live on her website at HillaryClinton.com.
"This isn't exactly the party I planned, but I sure like the company," she joked.
