Image via WikipediaPresident Barack Obama and House Republicans apparently played a round of who’s zoomin’ who Wednesday during a closed-door White House meeting to discuss the federal budget and ways to reduce the deficit.
Republicans accused Obama and congressional Democrats of demagoguery in their description of House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan’s (R-Wis.) budget proposal which includes a plan to overhaul Medicare by essentially privatizing it.
They complained that Democrats falsely claims that Ryan’s proposal would throw grandma and granddad under the bus, assertions that have spurred angry senior citizens to storm town hall meetings held by GOP lawmakers. CONTINUE....
