VENUS' BOOTY LANDS TV COMMENTATOR IN TROUBLE

The Williams sisters continue their march through the early rounds of the Australian Open in Melbourne, but not without some controversy. Venus Williams' buttocks became the obsession of a television commentator, leading to angry calls from viewers; while Serena's foul mouth during play got her a code violation.

Tennis commentator Roger Rasheed of Australia's Channel Seven made remarks about Williams' badonkadonk during a slow motion replay of her match against China's Yan Zi, which Venus won 6-2, 7-5.

"Take a look at this now. Make or think as you will, ladies, but for me, that's a pretty good sight,' he told co-commentators Tracy Austin and Nicole Bradtke as Venus' backside filled the TV screen. [View footage below.]

Channel 7 said it received a number of calls complaining about the remarks, but no action would be taken against Rasheed.

Meanwhile, Serena was loud and ferocious in her 1 hour 12 minute victory over China's Meng Yuan 6-3, 6-1 Wednesday to reach the third round of the Australian Open. En route to her win, Serena had lots of fist pumps, yelps and even got herself a code violation for swearing in jubilation after blasting down a powerful backhand winner.

"It was a satisfying win," she said after the match. "I felt like I played better groundstroke-wise than I did in my first match. My game was definitely a good game to play someone like her, I enjoyed that."

Serena, who meets 26th seed Victoria Azareka of Belarus in the third round, is happy that her sister is not on her side of the draw, which means they would only face each other in the final.

"It definitely makes a big difference knowing that first of all I don't have to play her in my half," she said. "And also knowing that the only time I'll see her is in the final if we both make it there. Obviously, we both want that goal."
