JUVENILE 'DEVASTATED' OVER DAUGHTER'S MURDER

A 17-year-old boy was arrested in Atlanta Friday and charged in the shooting deaths of his mother and two young sisters, one of whom was the daughter of rap star Juvenile.

Anthony Tyrone Terrell Jr. sits this morning in the DeKalb County jail charged in the killings of his mother, 39-year-old Gwinnett County sheriff's deputy Joy Deleston; her daughter Micaiah, 11; and her daughter with Juvenile, Jelani, 4. Their bodies were discovered Thursday night in their home near Lawrenceville, outside Atlanta.

Juvenile's manager Aubrey Francis said the rapper, 32, is still trying to cope with the losses.

"It really shocked him and devastated him to the point where I've never seen him before," Francis said. "Right now he is relaxing and trying to grasp everything of what has happened."

Terrell was taken to jail in neighboring DeKalb County to avoid any potential conflict because Deleston worked for Gwinnett County. However, the preliminary hearing will be set sometime this week in Gwinnett County Superior Court. Because of Terrell's age, prosecutors cannot seek the death penalty.

Deleston brought a paternity suit against Juvenile in 2004, claiming he was Jelani's father, Gwinnett County court records show. Both parties later agreed the rapper was the father and he had been making regular child support payments, according to Francis.
